Flash Movies and Flash Animations

CData can design and develop custom flash animations, flash websites,flash navigation systems,to fit your needs. We are very proficient with Macromedia Flash and other animations (such as .gif animations). While some flash animations can be "annoying," when used properly they can add some spice to your website. Below is a very simple flash animation I developed for the Fairfield Chess Club:

CData is also able to develop navigation systems and flash websites. Another area we have used flash is for teaching or showing how to perform specific actions in a program. The ACC has some examples of a Chess program This is an excellent way for potential visitors to your e-commerce website to see software or another product "in action" by using Flash Animations..

Flash Drawbacks:

Flash can add interest and "appeal" to a website. Flash also has some drawbacks though.

The Website visitor must have the free Flash Plug-in installed. If it is not installed they will have to download it to view the animation. More than 97.6% of all website visitors have the plug-in installed.
The Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, Hotbot... and others) cannot "read" the text inside a flash movie. If they cannot read the text inside a flash move they can not "index" the text. What this means is the content of the flash movie will not be searchable. If there is nothing to search in the flash movie, potential customers will not be able to find you on the internet. I prefer to use flash within a website, not to make the whole website a flash animation. This way you can have flash animations on your site and still have your site be found in searches in a search engine like google.
